Main usage:

Fluoroboric acid is a catalyst for aldehyde synthesis, a metal surface cleaner, a polish for lead electrolysis, a diazonium salt stabilizer and so on; it is also used to clean metal surface or before alloy electroplate. Fluoroboric acid is one component of preservatives for deactivating aluminum and steel phosphate, an optimum lead soluble electrolyte for lead storage battery, a enhancer of crude oil infiltration capacity in oil field exploitation, a raw material of making diazonium salt stabilizer and various fluoborate, alkylation and polymerization catalyst, a cleaner and corrodent of metal surface oxide, silicate film. It is especially used to clean before aluminum and alloy electroplating, re-clean in electropolishing pure aluminum and removing welding agent from low active metal matrix and electroplating parts, it is also an important component of electroplate liquid.
